Hand-carving is part of our repertoire. We use chisels to incise letters in native
cypress, then gild the letters.
Some of the solid wood signs are painted, while others are simply sealed to preserve the beauty of the natural wood grain.
We also do relief carving, which is expecially effective for illustration and ornament, sometimes gilding the letters, as on Magnolia Grill.

Center News: Bonne Fête!
Font Club will meet on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 from 2pm-6pm. As part of our Analog Dialog, we will have Pen Yoga for 1½ hours with Yvette Rutledge leading a guided practice in calligraphy. It
will be followed by a work session in Type Design from 3:30pm until 6pm. We meet the 3rd Saturday of every month.
